ITC provides the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Office of Human Resources (HR) functional requirement support and project management services for DIA’s Human Resources Information Services(HRIS), specifically for PeopleSoft Federal HR (myHR), to improve HR service delivery to the Agency by improving self-service HR capabilities and integrating agency position management functions using repeatable processes and tools designed to simplify transactions.
OHR’s mission is shaping an agile workforce to achieve the DIA mission success. In order to achieve its mission, DIA currently focuses on four areas – Staffing, Development, Motivation, and Retention. We understand operational and strategic needs as it relates to those focus areas and articulates formal functional requirements for OHR to implement. Our team leverages their expertise with DIA’s core HR applications (PeopleSoft, Plateau, Business Objects, and eOPF) to help DIA achieve its mission.
MyHR is DIA’s core business tool that has been tailored to meet the specific needs of DIA. The Agency uses the core HR Administration component of this PeopleSoft product as well Benefits Administration, eRecruit, Time & Labor, ePerformance and Payroll Interface – all of which have been customized to support DIA’s internal business processes and program requirements.
Possessing the ability to step in on day one, identify needs, articulate requirements, and deliver was key to the success of this project and that’s exactly what ITC consultants have done. Our activities span Business Process Analysis and Requirements Definition and include documenting business processes; defining functional needs; analyzing and assessing existing systems to identify and document application and business process gaps; re-engineering business processes; and supporting change management activities. ITC supports OHR’s IT Modernization efforts including myHR enhancements, upgrades, and customizations, modernization of current capabilities such as PCS tracking and upgrading GEMS capabilities and tools. We recommend and support OHR IT improvements, modernization efforts, changes to current state solutions, additional technology upgrades and implementations. We collaborate with stakeholders in identifying needs and priorities for business process/Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) efforts and develop well-documented business/functional requirements in support of enterprise business cases.
